On staying motivated

It is finally the weekend! You have 48 hours to do all the things you did not have time for during the week. Okay…so reality just kicked in and the clock is ticking. It is hard at times to stay motivated especially when you feel overwhelmed by the amount of work. I often have these moments when there is only a few months left before the end of the year.

Summer is over, the weather is getting colder and your mood and motivation are slowly going down. You may have the feeling that you are not as efficient as you should be. It is probably true and it is okay. Don’t worry it never lasts long. Since winter season is approaching, it is also the occasion to take care of yourself. I personally use this time to eat more vegetables in soups for example and do a vitamin cure to help with the lack of sun.

Besides, life happens and you can’t control it so just roll with it. You’ll see it makes everything way lighter and it will all come back to normal anyway. Don’t forget you are in a marathon not a sprint. Remind yourself of what has already been accomplished so far to stay motivated. Maybe all you need is a cheat meal, hanging out with friends or family, have a good laugh, a lazy day on the couch watching your favorite show. And then you get back to work the next day full of good vibes and energy!
