What is Aada?

Aada means tradition, custom in Fulah which is a West African dialect spoken in Mali, Senegal, Guinea, Mauritania, Cameroon, Nigeria with some variations.

I really like the idea of passing on stories from generation to generation, from mouth to ear and nowadays from one side of the planet to the other. The idea that technologies and social media allow us to erase borders and bring together people who would have never met another way thrills me.

This is the reason why I named this blog Aada. Let’s share our experiences and motivate each other. 🙂
